Arizona Wildfire Academy : Wildland Fire Training

IM Trainees

In addition to the courses offered, we have an opportunity for trainees in the positions listed below. This is a great time to work on your task books. As a trainee, you will help manage the daily operations of the Arizona Wildfire & Incident Management Academy with the guidance of a qualified trainer.

The Arizona Wildfire & Incident Management Academy is run like an incident, and trainees will work in excess of eight hours per day. No overtime or comp time will be covered by the Arizona Wildfire & Incident Management Academy. Trainees will be allowed only one task book and may take a class only if authorized by your trainer.
